A Song for Sunday: Wretch 32 – Doing Okay
Now that we’re back from our little Summer vacation (ie: being too busy, sick, or miserable to post), it’s time to pick this week’s Song for Sunday.
This one took me completely by surprise. I was just clicking through the trending videos (as usual) and, when this one came up, I was speechless. It’s so… different!
It’s a great song with a great video that tells a great story. I love the mix of reggae and rap – a pair that shouldn’t really go together but does. I also love that, even though there is a rap element, it isn’t crass or edgy or full of hate. It’s just about love and that’s why I love it.
